Apart from the massive corona crisis with in Chennai team, IPL 2020 is fast arriving. In less than 20 days, the management needs to find a replacement and integrate him into CSK. Suresh Raina is their most important batsman as he single handedly won them many games in the past.

However, Chennai Super Kings can use Ambati Rayudu in the middle order and use Murali Vijay or Faf du Plessis to partner Shane Watson at the top. This will work as a stop gap solution for the team in the initial matches.
