MS Dhoni might have retired last year itself, but players keep doing things which reminds of the great MS. One such incident happened during the final stages of the third test match between England and India.

As the fans of Indian team would remember, MS Dhoni would hit sixes to finish off the games in limited overs format. The most famous such hit was on the night of 2 April 2011 when India won the 50 overs World Cup final.

Following the same idea, Rohit hit a six to finish the game for India. After England were shot out for 81 runs in their second innings, India required just 49 runs to win, thanks to the 33 runs lead in the first innings.

The target of 49 runs was never going to cause flutter in the Indian camps, unless they would lose wickets upfront. That was not the case as the Indian openers Rohit and Gill started on a calm note. Both took their time as they slowly peeled runs off the target.

The English team opened their bowling with spinner Jack Leach and skipper Joe Root brought himself on to partner Leach. However they could not create problems for India.

Rohit Sharma, the top scorer for India in first innings repeated his feat in the second innings. He finished unbeaten on 25 of 25 which included 3 fours and a six. The six was hit when he came down the track to Joe Root and launched the bowler over long on. It was very much a Dhoni style six, sending the fans into delirium!
