Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant was dismissed courtesy of a sharp reflex catch from Cameron Green. The southpaw was good at counter attacking Aussie attack until that moment. However, he is unlucky to get out in that fashion.
Hazlewood bowled a short delivery and Pant tried to help it on its way. But his execution of the shot was poor as he jabbed it straight to gully. The ball was travelling and Green managed to get down in time to grab a stunning catch.
Pant will be gutted to get dismissed in the manner in which he got out. He made a decent 23 until that point and looked at ease attacking Australian bowlers. His dismissal has opened doors for Australia to amass a massive first innings lead.
Indian batsmen were put on a back foot on day 3 after they got dismissed quite softly. Pujara was out due to a peach of a delivery from Hazlewood. However, Ajinkya Rahane and Mayank Agarwal both were dismissed quite cheaply.
Unfortunately all Indian batsmen got starts but none of them went onto make a fifty. This has been the cause of concern for the batting unit. Rishabh Pant too got a start but was dismissed due to poor shot execution.
Here is the video
Cameron Green said he's never been a gully fielder … well, he's not getting out of there any time soon!

Once Rishabh Pant was dismissed, young Washington Sundat along with Shardul Thakur managed to put up a 50 run partnership. The duo are trying their best to cut down the lead as much as possible.
It will take a very hard effort from the tailenders to ensure that India score more runs to reduce the Australia’s lead. Washington Sundar in particular have looked in positive mentality.
The debutant has kept his head down and played each ball based on its merit. Both him and Thakur needs to continue their good work. Australian bowlers are frustrated with this partnership.
India has no real batters to come after this pair. Navdeep Saini, Natarajan and Siraj are all specialist bowlers and have single digit batting average in first class cricket. Australia are looking to take wickets quickly and come back to bat again.
There is rain predicted for the reminder of the match. So it will be interesting to see how the match will pan out as the hosts could be forced to score some quick runs to get a result from this test match.
