Sunrisers Hyderabad player David Warner had a tough week in Indian Premier League 2021. The talented southpaw failed to impress with the bat against Chennai Super Kings. His slow innings meant SRH could not post a mammoth total while batting first.
Yesterday SRH management has announced that David Warner is dropped from captaincy in favor of Kane Williamson. However, shockingly he was dropped from the team for the game against Rajasthan Royals.
Sunrisers has managed to win just one match under David Warner. However, their fortune did not change after another big loss today. Their bowling was taken for cleaners as Royals batsmen were brilliant with their power hitting.
After dropping David Warner, SRH promoted Manish Pandey as opener. However, the batters succumbed to the pressure of chasing 221. Meanwhile, during the innings, David Warner looked very relaxed and tried to help team whenever possible.
He even became a water boy as fans felt sad looking at David Warner. He is undoubtedly one of the greatest T20 players of all time. But the things have changed rapidly and SRH management need to sort out the mess before their next game

Warner has been associated with Sunrisers Hyderabad for a long time. He made a name for himself in IPL while playing for SRH. The southpaw was crucial to the success of the team and he led them to their maiden IPL title in 2016.
Even when the team were under crisis, he used to be the backbone of their batting lineup. Although there has not been concrete evidence for this sudden drop out, there has been reports over fall out with team management.
Warner has always backed young talents and SRH is one of the most consistent sides making play offs almost every year. It will be interesting to see how the things will develop over the next few days.

If the team management are unhappy with Warner, the veteran cricketer could very well be available in auction pool for next season. David Warner has developed a special bond with Hyderabad fans and for them it will be tough to see him play for another team.
