Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni is finally back. After the corona crisis within the team, CSK were delayed to participate in team training.
All the team members and staff were asked to undergo an extended quarantine. However, the results on Thursday were declared negative and the team were allowed to have their first session on Friday.
The players looked joyful and were eager to have some cricketing drills finally. Meanwhile, MS Dhoni took his bat and whooped few sixes for fun during this session. With the absence of Suresh Raina, the responsibility of middle order weighs heavily on him.

MS Dhoni has recently retired from international cricket and all fans are eagerly waiting to see him in action. In fact, this will be the first time that fans will see Dhoni after last year’s world cup.
Having took the world by storm in 2005, Dhoni made a name for himself in cricketing history. He is in the fag end of his career and will definitely enjoy the challenges in IPL over the next couple of seasons.
Chennai Super Kings Ready to play in IPL opener
CSK have announced that they are ready to play in the curtain raiser of IPL 2020. With the recent events surrounding the team, the board were forced to delay the announcement of fixtures.
But CEO Viswanathan has declared that his team is more than okay to play in the first game of the season. There were concerns on whether CSK can be well prepared as they started their preparations almost one week later than everyone.
The team are already without Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh. On the other hand, Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaikwad can join only by next week in team training at the earliest.
BCCI have further delayed IPL 2020 schedule. President Sourav Ganguly has earlier confirmed to release it on Friday. However, latest reports suggest IPL 2020 schedule will be made public on Sunday.
