England cricketer Eoin Morgan has managed to dismiss Steve Smith with a sensational runout during the second T20I. The skipper was a live wire on the field and Smith was bad in his calculations to sneak in a single in this incident.

The wicket was an important one as Smith looked in full flow in his short stay at the crease. The talented batter has hit a six and a four but was dismissed at the right time. Eoin Morgan has set an example to the fielding standards in English cricket in recent years.

Being the skipper, he is leading the side from the front. On the other hand, a win in this match would seal the T20I series for hosts England.

Having won the toss, Australian skipper Aaron Finch decided to bat first. However, the visitors were put on back foot inside the powerplay overs. English bowlers were tight and gave no room for Australian batters to maneuver. Warner was dismissed for 0, while keeper batsman Alex Carey scored 2.

Steve Smith tried to up the ante but miscalculated a single which he will be frustrated with.  Australia were reeling at 30/3 in 5 overs at the time of his dismissal. However Aaron Finch along with Stoinis repaired the damage done.

Cameos from Glenn Maxwell and Aston Agar at the end helped Australia set a target of 158 for England.

Meanwhile, England are looking very sharp in the series. After almost losing the first T20I, the team bounced back remarkably in the final overs. They managed to win the game by a whisker.

The hosts are keen to finish the summer on a high. Test series wins against West Indies and Pakistan, have already made a successful summer for the hosts in this corona pandemic. They are the only country to host international cricket since the corona outbreak happened across the world.

On the other hand, all the major players who are set to play IPL this month will join their teams by September 21 at the earliest. Almost all the IPL teams have their key overseas players featuring in this series. The Indian Premier League for 2020 is set to be played in UAE from September 19.
