Mumbai Indians have set a target of 151 runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad to win at Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Mumbai made 150 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their alloted 20 overs. For Mumbai Indians, Quinton de Kock was the highest scorer with 40 runs while at the death Pollard made 35 runs in quick time. He hit three sixes.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar for Sunrisers Hyderabad had an off day  today as he leaked 45 runs in 4 overs. Khaleel Ahmed took 1 wicket. While, Mujeeb Rahman and Vijay Shankar took two wickets each as, Hyderabad stopped Mumbai to modest score of 150 runs.

Chasing a target of 151 runs to win, Jonny Bairstow and David Warner opened the batting for Sunrisers Hyderabad . The team got off to a flyer with help of some sensational hitting by Jonny Bairstow. The wicketkeeper from England made 43 runs in just 22 deliveries that had three fours and 4 sixes.

Just when he was looking to take the game away from Mumbai, he was gone. Bairstow was out in the most unfortunate way when he stepped onto his wicket to bowling of Krunal Pandya. After that Manish Pandey too could not stay for long at the wicket and he was also gone for two runs.

But the decisive blow for Sunrisers Hyderabad came when their captain David Warner was run out to an amazing throw from Hardik Pandya.

It was the twelfth over of the innings and Kieron Pollard was bowling. Warner was looking well set and looked good to take his team to victory. He set off for a run on a slower delivery bowled by Pollard, when the ball had just reached point region. There, Hardik Pandya was patrolling. Pandya quickly picked up the ball and threw down the stumps in one motion at the strikers end.

Warner was the most experienced batsman for Hyderabad as after him they had no any such experienced batsman. The South Paw from Australia made 36 runs in 34 balls that had two fours and two sixes .

When his wicket fell, Hyderabad needed needed 60 runs in 51 balls but the chase was already in doldrums with only inexperienced players to follow.
