Mumbai Indians won their game against Sunrisers Hyderabad by 13 runs. It was , a match where Mumbai slowly choked Hyderabad after it appeared that Hyderabad would easily win the match. But their weakness is that they have inexperienced batsman in their middle order. Those batsmen could not stand up to the sustained pressure and masterful bowling by Mumbai Indians as they were condemned to a 13 runs loss.

The last 2 overs bowled by Jaspreet Bumrah and Trent Boult was simply outstanding. Bumrah gave away just 5 runs and took the all-important wicket of Vijay Shankar. Boult finished off the game in last over within four deliveries by taking two wickets of the tailenders.

Hyderabad were all out on 137 runs as they had no answers to the pace bowling of Boult and Bumrah. In the last over, Hyderabad required 16 runs to win with Boult bowling. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mujibur Rahman were batting for Hyderabad.

Bolt finishes off the game

The first ball bowled by Boult was full and straight at the stumps. Bhubaneswar Kumar had made room and tried to go over the infield but missed the ball and it rattled his stumps. Khaleel Ahmed the new man in took a single by hitting the ball towards cover.

Mujibur Rahman in the next delivery too did the same. He took a single by carving the ball towards the extra cover. However on the next ball of the match, Khaleel Ahmed tried to make room to Trent Boult.

The bowler delivered a Yorker. Khaleel Ahmad had no any answers to that kind of delivery. Trent Bolt took 3 wickets in the match. He was the top wicket taker of the match along with Rahul Chahar, the leg spinner of Mumbai

Kieron  Pollard was adjudged the man of the match. He made a quick fire 35 towards the end of the innings which took Mumbai to score of 150. Consequently, this total proved just about enough for Mumbai.
