Watch Prithvi Shaw Hit Unbelievable flicked six vs Mohammed Shami

Prithvi Shaw looked in sensational touch today in the match against Punjab Kings. Shaw who, was considered the next wonder boy of Indian cricket has been in and out of the Indian team for some time. First, he was injured in the Australian tour of 2018. After that he came back but was dropped due to a poor run of in last IPL. His scores wasn’t up to the mark in the entire season.

In the Australian tour of 2020, he was thrown out of the team after a disastrous first test. Then Prithvi Shaw made more than 800 runs in the Vijay Hazare trophy at a shocking average of 185 and an unbelievable strike rate of 140. In the IPL as well, Shaw has been on fire. Although he hasn’t got such a big score but he has been given giving his team quick fire starts.

Today was no different as Capitals required a solid and quick innings from their openers. Dhawan and specially Shaw did exactly that. Shaw made full use of the power play and scored 32 in 17 balls.

Shaw flick – pick up six!

His first four came in the second over When Mohammed Shami induced an outside edge. But, there was no any slip and the ball raced away for a 4. Just two delievries later, Shaw showed how special a talent he is. It was a full delivery and into his pads by Shami. He casually flicked it over long on boundary as everyone was shocked.

They could not believe that how can a flick shot go that far. Even Mohammed Shami found it quite unbelievable. His next 6 was in the fourth over when on the last ball of the over Jhye Richardson was hit by Shaw for a 6. It was a length delivery in the line of stumps and Shaw, just hit through the line without any feet movement over long of region.

It was a stunning hit because it’s difficult to hit a six against a Pacer without any feet movement. However, Shaw innings came to an end when Arshdeep Singh used a slower delivery to induce him into pulling. Hence, Shaw was out as Chris Gayle took the catch at square leg.
