An interesting moment happened in today’s match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals. It was in the last over of the innings of Kolkata Knight Riders. The batting team had struggling, to get going as none of their batsman bar, Rahul Tripathi could score runs for the team.

In the last over, Pat Cummins and Shivam Mavi were batting and Chris Morris was the bowler. The first ball was bowled right, under the eyes of Pat Cummins. He smashed the ball over long off, for a huge six that went a few rows back. It was a stunning hit by Cummins to the pacer.

Then on the next ball, came the revenge moment. It was a slower and short delivery to Cummins. He tried to pull the delivery for another six. However, this time the connection was a poor one, as the shot was a result of a messed up timing.

So, the ball went up in the air and was taken comfortably, by the fielder positioned at mid wicket. It was Riyan Parag who, took the catch. Pat Cummins was on his way and hence, a perfect revenge moment was completed. Also, Parag did a funny selfie celebration after he took the catch..

After that, Kolkata could only finish on a paltry total of 133-9 in their 20 overs. This was never, going to be enough as the batsmen, of Rajasthan Royals showed. They had, no problems in chasing the target of 134 runs.

Easy victory for RR

Except Jos Buttler and Rahul Tewathia, everyone contributed to the team total. Both Buttler and Tewathia, scored only 5 run. But, the rest of the batsmen, made sure that their team does not have any problems in, chasing the total down.

After the match was over, Morgan said that the batting was a letdown. They should have, scored more runs than what they eventually managed. According to Morgan, the Kolkata Knight Riders were short by 40 runs.

Sanju Samson, the winning captain was happy after earning his second victory of the season. They will, look to continue the performances like this and gain some more victories.
