Rishabh Pant in yet another match defining innings, turned the game on its head by hitting a century. Coming in at the crease when India were struggling at 80-4, Pant quickly took the game away from England.
His quick fire century put India firmly in command as they went for looking a huge lead. Pant brought his third century and his first in India by hitting a six. The bowler there was part time off spinner and English skipper Joe Root.
Both Pant and Sunder were playing cautiously until the end of 80 overs. As soon as the new ball was taken at the start of 81st over, both Pant and Sunder absolutely caned English bowlers to all parts of the ground.
Playing with only three specialist bowlers, England had nowhere to hide as both Pant and Sunder took full toll of a tiring bowling outfit.
One such Pant special was seen when Anderson came to bowl a new over with the new ball. As soon as he delivered the ball, Pant went down on his knee and then played a reverse lap sweep that flew over the slips!
Everyone present in the stadium was stunned at this act of dare devilry by Pant. Kohli was seen clapping at that shot. Even, Anderson was left bemused by this kind of Shot from the young Rishabh Pant.
