Delhi Capitals cricketer Rishabh Pant is looking in fine touch ahead of IPL 2020. Despite not playing cricket for over 5 months, the young prodigy is still hitting the ball as effortlessly as before.
The 23-year old had practiced with Suresh Raina and others in Ghaziabad before departing to UAE. However, ever since the training sessions began, Pant is impressing the fans with his tremendous ball hitting ability. Delhi Daredevils were quick to post a video on this.
“An Indian southpaw smashing sixes off-spinners at will in Sharjah. Well, where have we heard that before?” – Delhi Capitals captioned the post. The post was definitely referred to legendary cricketer Sourav Ganguly. He had some memorable outings in Sharjah during late 90s for India.
Pant is the biggest match winner for Delhi Capitals. Despite strong Indian batting lineup, Pant holds the key to decide matches on his own. Last year, Pant has impressed with his power hitting during the fag end of the tournament.
However, Delhi Capitals still failed to qualify for their first ever IPL final. They were eliminated in qualifier 2. But the team are eyeing to make one step forward this year as they added experienced Ajinkya Rahane to their ranks.
Rishabh Pant will have to play at his belligerent best if he wants to win his first IPL title with Delhi. In the video shared by Delhi on twitter, Pant was seen hitting huge sixes against spinners.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals had begun their team training almost a week ago. They have the best Indian talent amongst all the teams. With the likes of Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Amit Mishra, the team has plenty of match winners in their Indian contingent.
But Rishabh Pant remains the main man for the team. Despite many stars in their team, Pant is the only player who can decide the match on his own. His unbelievable six hitting coupled with consistency can see Delhi clinch their maiden IPL title.
On the other hand, Shikhar Dhawan plays the role of an anchor as he helped Delhi last season with his experience. The veteran cricketer will look to replicate his heroics once again this season. All in all, Delhi Capitals is an exciting team to watch this season and only a fool will rule them out of title race at this moment.
