Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore are the latest two teams to enter team training for IPL 2020. Both the teams’ players were tested negative. Hence, they entered bio secure bubble and are now training themselves.

Mumbai Indians stars have entered the training arena at night. Hardik Pandya expressed his joy to finally practice cricket after seven days in isolation. Rohit Sharma was seen practising his classic off side drives.

The captain has emphasized the importance of team training to prepare well for the tournament. Going in as defending champions, the onus is on Mumbai Indians to once again bag their title.

On the other hand, Rohit Sharma revealed that the team can go slow in the initial days. He also reiterated the importance getting used to the hot conditions in UAE.

Rohit Sharma remains the most important player in Mumbai Indians dressing room. He was their star batsman for many seasons now. The captain has led his side to the title in nerve wrecking final last season.

Apart from Rohit Sharma, the training video also featured Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah. Zaheer Khan and Mahela Jayawardene were seen monitoring the team during the one hour session they had.

Virat Kohli Impressed With Spinners on Day 1

Royal Challengers Bangalore also had their team training on Saturday. The team were seen in high spirits. Virat Kohli has revealed that he is impressed with the overall outcome from his batting on Day 1.

The superstar was scared on dip in form especially not playing cricket for more than five months now. On the other hand, the contingent of RCB also has South African cricketer Dale Steyn.

On the first day, spinners stole the show as per Virat Kohli. The skipper was full of praise to Shahbaz Nadeem, Washington Sundar and Yuzvendra Chahal. Meanwhile, fast bowlers were not in action as they practised their motion in bowling action to get back into groove.

The team also had a fielding session after the net practice. Royal Challengers Bangalore also had a light session just like Mumbai Indians. However, the intensity in these sessions will gradually increase in the coming days. IPL 2020 is set to begin on September 19. However, the dates of fixtures are yet to be released. The board are yet to finalize schedule due to various factors in the past week.
