Pakistan team captain Babar Azam’s tremendous storm was seen on the field in the Pakistan vs Nepal match today. Pakistan team has lost its 4 important wickets for 123 runs at one time. However, after this the bowlers of Nepal looked completely breathless in front of the magic batting of Babar Azam and Iftikhar Ahmed and the result was that the Pakistan team scored 342 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.

When Babar came to bat after 2 wickets fell for 25 runs, he along with Rizwan led the innings by batting very comfortably. However, after the dismissal of Rizwan and Salman Ali, when Iftikhar Ahmed came to bat, Babar and Iftikhar made a quick partnership of 214 runs and took the team’s score beyond 340 runs. In this match, Babar Azam played a tremendous inning of 151 runs in 131 balls. During this, Babar also hit 14 fours and 4 sixes. With this inning, Babar also broke the big record of Virat Kohli by scoring the 19th century of his ODI career. In fact, Babar defeated Virat and Hashim Amla and added another record to his name by scoring his 19th ODI century in the lowest number of innings. Babar scored his 19th ODI century in his 102nd innings. Whereas former South African batsman Hashim Amla had played 104 innings to touch this figure. Whereas King Kohli took 124 innings to score 19 centuries.

After this brilliant century of Babar Azam, Virat Kohli gave a statement in the live show of Star Sports. In this interview, Kohli shared about his practice preparations for the match to be played between India and Pakistan on September 2. Kohli told during this interview that before the match against Pakistan, he is practicing batting especially against left arm pacers. Along with this, Kohli is focusing on batting to play well against Pakistan spinners. Kohli further said that he is fully prepared mentally and physically before the India-Pakistan match. The reason for Kohli and Rohit’s practice against the left arm pacer is to deal with Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Afridi, who broke the back of Indian batting with his dangerous bowling during the T20 World Cup in the year 2021. Due to which both the veteran players of Team India are working hard to play against the left arm pacer.
