Indian cricketer Mohammad Siraj has complained to on field about the abuse he was receiving on the boundary line. Play was briefly interrupted on Day four as many as six people were ejected from SCG by security officials.
But this is not the first time, this has happened. Yesterday, reports came out that Bumrah and Siraj have both faced racial abuse. The umpires, match officials had a lengthy discussion with the players at stumps.
Indian skipper Ajinkya Rahane and veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin were the ones to bring the matter to the notice of match officials. On the other hand, BCCI also lodged an official complaint.
Despite Siraj’s complaint, the fans in the stand deny the allegations that they made racially directed comments. However, it is not known whether the people who were removed from the stadium are the same guys that was in relation to abuse of a racial nature yesterday.
This incident made shock waves in Australia as it tarnishes the image of Australian cricket as a whole. This is the same stand from where abuse was reported on Saturday too.

Meanwhile, Cricket Australia released a statement strongly condemning the incident and apologised to Indian cricket team over the incident
“Cricket Australia condemns in the strongest terms possible all discriminatory behaviour,” it read.
“If you engage in racist abuse, you are not welcome in Australian cricket. CA is awaiting the outcome of the International Cricket Council’s investigation into the matter reported at the SCG on Saturday.
“Once those responsible are identified, CA will take the strongest measures possible under our anti-harassment code, including lengthy bans, further sanctions and referral to NSW Police.
“As series hosts, we unreservedly apologise to our friends in the Indian cricket team and assure them we will prosecute the matter to its fullest extent.”
Meanwhile, Australia took a stronghold in Sydney test after a commendable batting effort in the second innings. Labuschagne, Smith and Green have all got big fifties to put Australia at a good position.
India has to chase down a massive 407 runs to win this game. They lost 2 wickets on day 4 and need a miracle to salvage at least a draw from this test. On the other hand, India has only 6 batters as Jadeja was ruled out of test match. Pant is still in pain after suffering an elbow injury yesterday.
