Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni has once again hit headlines for his classy and kind gesture. The veteran cricketer has recently announced his retirement from international cricket. This news has taken the world by storm and Suresh Raina too followed suit on the same day.

The franchise’s contingent had traveled to United Arab Emirates from Chennai on Friday for IPL 2020. However, CSK director K George John has revealed about Dhoni’s kind gesture when he offered his business class seat to John and exchanged his economic class seat instead.

John who had long legs was struggling in his economy seat. Apparently, captain cool MS Dhoni came to him and offered his business class seat instead. The 39-year old has once again proved his class off the field. John had also posted video showing Dhoni with Raina and other teammates in economy class on his twitter.

“When a man who’s seen it all, done it all in Cricket tells you, “Your legs are too long, sit in my seat (Business Class), I’ll sit in Economy.” The skipper never fails to amaze me. @msdhoni,” John tweeted.

Fans Excited For MS Dhoni in IPL

MS Dhoni has really surprised everyone when he announced retirement from international cricket on Independence day. Many believed that Dhoni would try to challenge for a place in Indian team for next year’s T20 world cup.

But the sudden announcement took everyone by surprise. On the other hand, despite this news, Dhoni fans are very excited about the upcoming IPL. Dhoni was not seen in action since the semi final against New Zealand in last year’s world cup.

Now the Chennai Super Kings skipper can solely focus on IPL and enjoy his fag end of his incredible career. With Dhoni more focused on CSK, there are also high chances for the team to seriously challenge for IPL title this season.

Dhoni can also freely play his natural game, with no burden of thinking on national team. The dynamic batsman has earned hundreds of millions of fans across the world and has established himself amongst the greatest cricketers of all time.

Meanwhile, IPL will be played in UAE this year due to COVID crisis. The tournament will begin on September 19 and the final is scheduled on November 10. With teams now traveling to UAE, they will undergo a six day quarantine period during which three covid tests will be taken.
